I haven’t done much stamping this week (you may have noticed!) and I really want to participate in the challenges over at the Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps blog. This card is meant to meet two challenges in one. First, to make a card using this template:
The other, to make a card inspired by the colors in this dress:

And so, (insert drumroll here)

About the card: The base of the card is Whisper White cardstock. The blue and yellow cardstock is non-SU! The strip of Old Olive textured card stock was run through the Big Shot with a raised dot embossing pattern, but you can’t really tell in the photo. The ribbon is Certainly Celery. The butterflies are cut with the Beautiful Wings die, from Bashful Blue and Taken With Teal cardstock. The grass is the Inspired by Nature stamp set, in Certainly Celery classic ink and Mellow Moss craft ink.
If I were to do this over, I’d adjust the spacing and allow for a sentiment. It’s fun, and a different kind of challenging to follow a (redundancy alert) challenge. I guess that’s the point. Flexing the brain muscles.

Oh wow- two challenges with one card! You rocked it!
I love, love, love your butterflies.
They are beautiful!
I love any card with old olive, my favorite green. Your card is terrific!
Oooooh how peaceful!!! I love it!
I love your card and that you combined both the challenges. Awesome job.
Love the embellishments on the butterflies!
You can never go wrong with butterflies! An awesome card and I love the colors too. Makes me feel warm and springy like in the summertime.
I really like the way you designed the card. You are very talented. I’ve tried cards but not with this kind of success.
